QUESTION: I run a small business out of my home and would like
to use your fonts/graphics on some of my products: T-shirts, greeting cards, etc. I will be reselling
these to friends and a local store.
ANSWER: In the past we have put some pretty tight restrictions on reselling our graphics.
We have decided, however, that most of the time people are selling on a very small scale. We now have
a more liberal policy which allows a licensed user to resell up to 250 copies of each image per year when
included as part of something else like a T-shirt, greeting card, scrapbook page, etc. We ask that you
do acknowledge Inspire Graphics if possible. The fonts have no limit. If you do go above 250 of a single
graphic in a year, give us a call and we will work it out. You still may not re-sell/distribute the digital
graphic/font files in any way.
IMPORTANT: These guidelines, as well as any that follow do not pertain to any images
or fonts contained on the Creative Lettering CD or other products produced by Inspire Graphics for another
company. For information on their copyright restrictions, please contact Creating
Keepsakes Magazine or the company who owns the rights to the images or fonts.
QUESTION: I have a newsletter that I sell. Am I limited to only 200 copies for that?
My circulation is over 500!.
ANSWER: For newsletters, magazines, books, or other circulated or published
works you may use the fonts and graphics freely. All we ask is that you acknowledge Inspire Graphics somewhere
on the same page. For example: "Used by permission of Inspire Graphics," or "Copyright 1997, Inspire Graphics,
Inc.," or better yet, "Inspire Graphics clip art image. For more info on their products call...or visit
www.InspireGraphics.com" The fonts may be used in a publication without acknowledgement (but we'd still
appreciate it).
QUESTION: I'd like to use your fonts and graphics on my web page. Is that free?.
ANSWER: As long as the user cannot download the font/graphic file, there is
no problem. Again, acknowledgement or a link to our home page is appreciated.
QUESTION: I have some of your clip art and would like to swap with someone else for
clipart images from a different package. I've also let my sister load my disk of Lettering Delights on
her computer. Is this okay?
ANSWER: This is one of those times when we cannot bend (although we know that
it happens all the time). Lending, sharing, swapping.....all are forms of piracy and are illegal. Many
people plead ignorance, but most just don't want to know. For better or for worse, now YOU know.
