What is the latest update for the Fresh Fonts?

The most recent update for the Fresh Fonts is available now. Download this file to your desktop or My Documents and when the download is complete, double click on the downloaded file to install the update.

My program is locking up when using the Autopilot button in the Wizard. What can I do?

On some computers, clicking the Autopilot button can cause the program to shut down. If this is happening on your computer, use the Next button to go through the Wizard, and only click the Autopilot button when prompted to print or perform some other function.

When working with categories, I get a message saying the category is already in use. Why is this happening?

This error is occuring because of a Font Organizer registry entry that will need to be changed. The easiest way to do this is download and run a small file that will do this for you.

Download this file to your desktop, then double-click on it to run it. Then restart the Font Organizer program and it should be fixed. Once the download file has been used to correct the issue, you will no longer need it.

My Candy Corn and Carbon Copy fonts are not working as they should. Why not?

We inadvertently named a font that shipped with the Fresh Fonts CD the same as a font that shipped in a previous CK CD. (The filename is the same not the actual font titles). The two fonts that conflict are CK Candy Corn and CK Carbon Copy (the filename of both is ckcac___.ttf). To resolve this problem, remove both fonts from your system (including from the FontKeeper). Then download and reinstall these two fonts.

Does Fresh Fonts make a backup copy of my fonts?

The Font Organizer program does automatically make a duplicate copy of your fonts which are kept in the Font Keeper.

However, if you want to create a backup copy of your fonts, such as to a Zip disk, CD, etc., this would need to be done manually by you. The Font organizer does not save or create external backups of your fonts.

Can I print text with my Fresh Fonts program?

The Font Organizer does print a catalog of your fonts as well as printing individual font samples. However, the program is designed mainly to organize your fonts, and does not allow you to type and print text of any significant length. You would want to use your word processor for that purpose.

Will my new Fresh Fonts work in my Creative Lettering software?

The only place your fresh fonts will work in your Creative Lettering CD's is in the Journalettes section. The Fresh Fonts are b&w TrueType fonts and will not work as color alphabets which you can add fill colors and patterns to.
